What is Chamomile?

Chamomile is a flowering plant that belongs to the Asteraceae family. Chamomile has two species: German Chamomile (Chamomilla recutita) and Roman Chamomile (Chamaemelum nobile), commonly used to make herbal infusions for traditional medicine. Chamomile originates from Europe and western Asia but is now found around the world.
